PROJECT EXPLANATION:

In 1931, at the age of thirteen, Elisabeth Hartsell began documenting her daily life in diaries. She continued writing faithfully for ten and a half years, encompassing the trying times of the Great Depression and the onset of World War II. These diaries, along with Elisabeth's life story, remained tucked away, hidden from the world until now.

Fast forward almost 100 years and Elisabeth's story has gone viral and we have over 400,000 followers on social media!

"My Grandma's Diaries" is a project that delves into Elisabeth's journals using a series of engaging videos on social media and a highly successful podcast. We bring her words to life and the story is a hidden treasure! Surprisingly, much of her teenage story remained unknown to the family. We invite you to explore "My Grandma's Diaries" further by following us on social media.
